Shoco’s Industrial Solutions Laboratory, located in Colorado Springs Colorado, is designed to assist customers optimize the life of their equipment through the monitoring of in service fluids and for the certification of ultra clean lubricants that are proven to benefit customers by reducing their maintenance costs and eliminating unpredicted failures. These benefits include lower equipment wear, longer equipment life, and longer lubrication life.
It is incorrect to assume that fresh oil is clean. In most cases, oil appears to naked eye to be a clean clear fluid with a yellowish-green or golden-brownish tint. Since the lower limit of human vision is 40-50 microns, the harmful 1 to 10 micron microgrit is not visible. Shoco’s Industrial Solutions Laboratory specializes in examining oils for cleanliness at the micro level and is the designated certifier for all of Chevrons IsoClean Certified® lubricants.
